The fourth grade studies the Earth’s land resources, properties of matter, animals and their adaptations, magnetism and electricity, weather and climate, and body systems. Instruction is based upon the Constructivist Learning model in which students are encouraged to, using hands-on activities and scientific method, construct connections and create meaning in the world around them.
